AT Info introduced the iCode printer at Pack Expo Chicago this week. The system includes a single head printer, an X2Jet Plus or X4Jet Plus controller (not pictured), and a 45si cartridge from Hewlett-Packard.
So what’s new and cool about the iCode printer you may ask, in addition to the stylish design and industrial look? The printer and the 45si cartridge include smart chip technology to authenticate the ink supply and safeguard the customer’s print operation. The controller’s digital display reads the print cartridge and shows the operator the type and amount of remaining ink. No more guessing.
