High Resolution Logos for Liquor Labels
Craft Distillers are being asked by retailers to print logos and graphics on liquor labels to personalize their products for consumers. In the past, this was difficult for the liquor manufacturers because the technology options were limited. The only alternative was to pay for an urgent label run with the converter which was both costly and time consuming.
AT Information Products has responded to the market’s needs by introducing a compact system to print variable codes, logos and graphics on pre-printed liquor labels. The comprehensive system includes the reel-to-reel label transport, industrial inkjet coder(s), mounting bracketry, gap sensor and cabling.
In addition, iDesign proprietary software is provided to enable the print system. Customers use the WYSIWYG software to create messages that get printed by the coder. The text can leverage any size and font type desired by the retailer. For logos and graphics, simply upload the hi-res file and specify the desired DPI.
AT Information Products offers two different print technologies for the purpose of coding liquor labels. HP thermal inkjet offers one or more 1/2-inch tall printheads for integration on a reel-to-reel label transport unit. The coder’s print quality is superb on both paper and glossy labels. For small amounts of text printing, the ink cartridges can last several hundred thousand prints before ink replacement.
Some retailers require logos and graphics to be printed on liquor labels, which adds personalization and greater loyalty by consumers. For such an application, AT Information Products offers a 1.34-inch-tall coder that prints high resolution codes and logos. Print speeds up to 90 meters per minute enable the craft distillers to run their labels at faster speeds than ever imagined. In the video, see the print quality and speed that’s possible with the Integra RAZR coder.
